How Do I Apply?
Our application process has been designed to ensure you are provided with all of the information you need to make an informed decision about a career with us.
From our website, you'll already have had the opportunity to get a good feel about the areas in which you could join us, and the next step is for you to complete and submit an application for your chosen scheme.
Be sure to apply before the closing date for your selected scheme! Only our Appprenticeship scheme applications are still open:
Graduate Schemes - CLOSED for 2013:
Engineering Scheme applications closed on 18th January 2013. All other Graduate Scheme applications closed on 31st January 2013.
Placement Schemes - CLOSED for 2013:
Placement Scheme applications closed on 16th November 2012.
The closing date for Apprenticeships is 22nd March 2013.
1. Click through to the application pages
You'll start by clicking on the 'apply' link. This will take you through to a registration page where you begin by selecting your chosen scheme.
2. Create an Application
To register as a candidate, when prompted you'll need to provide your name and email address and will also be required to create a password. Once you've done this, when you re-visit our site, there will be no need to provide all of your details again. Using the 'Candidate Zone' you will be able to monitor the progress of your application. In addition, you'll also have access to FAQ's relating to completing your application and using our online form.
3. Complete our Application Form
The first stage of the application form consists of a series of eligibility and data capture questions for you to complete. If you are successful through our initial application form stage, you'll then enter our selection process.
Our application process is fully online. The form enables you to complete your application in stages if you wish, by registering and saving your application as you go along. To return to a partially completed application you can login via the Login link.

- Make a note of your username (this will be the email address that you used to register) and password so that you can complete your application in stages if you want to. You can only return to an incomplete application, i.e. once you have submitted the finished application you will NOT be able to return and edit it.
- Be accurate when entering details especially dates, phone numbers and email addresses
- Pay attention to word limits when completing sections
- Complete as much of the form as you can
- Please note that a copy of your application will be emailed to you upon completion
- Exit a page without saving your information
- Submit your application before reading it through and checking it
